As different people prefer to learn in different ways Joe uses a variety of teaching methods to suit the learner encompasing, technique, theory, aural training, reading music and tablature.Joe also encourages playing with other musicians or with recordings - after all, actually being able to play music is the most important aspect here.

Joe specialises in teaching rock, metal, blues, indie and acoustic fingerstyle from beginner to advanced levels. As different people prefer to learn in different ways Joe uses a variety of teaching methods to suit the learner encompasing, technique, theory, aural training, reading music and tablature, composition, improvisation and learning pieces to ensure that the student develops all important areas in a well rounded, solid way. Joe also encourages playing with other musicians or with recordings - after all, actually being able to play music is the most important aspect here.
